Learning to Lean on Jesus
For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”
And
HE is made unto us Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification and Redemption. 1Cor 1:30
Liberty but not License
Who among us (the Bloodwashed Church of Jesus Christ) is without Sin ? If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and The Truth is not in us [1Jn 1.8].... There is none righteous but ONE, and our Righteousness, Holiness and Acceptance is derived from HIM !
We “believe on Him unto Righteousness (Ro 10:4,10).
The good and right things we do are not acceptable to God The Father for Our salvation; they are dead works. “There is none righteous, no not one (Ro 3:10, 10:4 and Jer 23.6).” However, God’s standard of perfection requires a totally sinless life. There’s no way any of us can ever be “good enough.”
The Apostle Paul points us to The Only answer : My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. 2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins and not only our sins but the sins of the whole world. He is The Eternal Judge, who took off His divine robes and paid for us the Eternal Price that we could not Pay to redeem us unto Himself: Whosoever will may come !
It is only through the sacrifice of the sinless Savior that we are made righteous. God made Jesus “who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2Cor. 5:20-21 NLT).
Because HE IS become Our Righteousness, Holiness and Acceptance before Our Father, therefore His (indwelling) Spirit (Ro 8:9) will empower us to Overcome temptation and sin... He took our place on the Cross not to provide a license to continue in sin, but HE is become Our freedom and liberty from sins’ power (the power that wants to work in us to destroy God’s Plan and Purpose for our Lives).
God is working in you to make you both willing and able to trust and obey him (Philippians 2:13 CEV).
